  Yes the internet has given the audience more power because they have more control over the media industry, as it is growing in apps and useful sharing apps to give young people with talent more chances to be noticed by bigger artist example, YouTube, Instagram However there is a negative side to the internet, were kids are able to access age restricted sites. And they are able to make fake accounts which lead to cyber bullying and lead to worse actions example, self-harm, depression and even commit suicide.
